Sally B’s Skin Yummies blends organic, natural and wild-crafted ingredients into luxurious skin care and cosmetic products that are both people and planet friendly. Developed by hand, all of Sally B’s products are nourishing, effective and, most importantly, non-toxic and Paraben-free. While Sally B’s principal focus is personal care products for both men and women, their overarching goal is to provide education and resources for well-being and to serve as an advocate for full and balanced living.
Sally Larsen founded Sally B’s Skin Yummies to fill a void in the skincare industry. After undergoing a healthy lifestyle transformation at the turn of the century, Sally shockingly discovered that the personal care products she used every day had toxic ingredients and carried potential health risks. Immediately she began looking for healthy and effective alternatives, but unfortunately her search left her empty-handed. With an ever-growing line of effective and good-for-you products, Sally B’s Skin Yummies is dedicated to using the highest-quality, most effective ingredients possible. Each product is meticulously hand developed in small batches in order to maintain quality and integrity. Not only does this ensure that the products contain the freshest ingredients possible, but it also affords Sally the luxury of improving upon recipes when new, beneficial ingredients are discovered or become available.
While Sally B’s Skin Yummies is unquestioningly passionate about their products, they also feel strongly about education associated with personal care products, their potential health hazards and alternatives for an overall well-balanced, healthy lifestyle. Through their website and social media, in-town events, and support of national platforms such as the Environmental Working Group EWG), Sally B’s aims to teach people how to self-police the unregulated world of personal care products and find alternatives that are free of toxic ingredients and that work.

By creating an accessible system of donation centers, donation drop boxes, and a simple, stress-free donation pick up schedule, American Kidney Services makes it easy to turn used items lying around your home or business into much-needed charitable donations. Donations can include women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, small kitchen appliances, electrical items, silverware, glassware, dishes, decorative items, small furniture, books, linens, bedding, televisions, CD players, stereos, and any other items that you no longer use or want.

GreenLaw is dedicated to preventing air and water pollution that endangers human health and degrades Georgia’s natural resources. GreenLaw achieves these goals by providing free high quality legal and technical assistance to environmental organizations and community groups throughout Georgia. By providing these critical services, GreenLaw succeeds in compelling government and industry to take the steps necessary to protect Georgia’s citizens and the environment. In all its work, GreenLaw champions the belief that every Georgian, young and old, rich and poor, has the right to breathe clean air, drink clean water, live in healthy communities, and enjoy our state’s natural beauty.
For decades, Georgia environmental and conservation groups have prodded polluters to obey the law while also demanding that the state enforce the law more effectively. However, the protection of our resources often depends on the interpretation and implementation of complex environmental laws and regulations. Industrial polluters pay large corporate firms with fleets of lawyers and aides to protect their interests. The government is well prepared to defend its inadequate enforcement of the law with the assistance of attorneys who are funded by taxpayer monies.
In 1992, a small group of dedicated lawyers launched GreenLaw (formerly the Georgia Center for Law in the Public Interest). Inspired by the essential need for a powerful public interest legal group to challenge industry and government actions that have degraded Georgia's environment, GreenLaw has worked closely with concerned citizens and environmental organizations.
GreenLaw’s legal expertise has been an essential component in the battle to compel unresponsive government agencies to enforce the law and to force industries to remedy serious water and air pollution violations across the state. Already, our actions have brought about the installation of tens of millions of dollars worth of new pollution controls in our state that protect our human health and Georgia's natural beauty both now and for the future. While much progress has been made in our short history, much remains to be done. GreenLaw stands ready to meet these challenges.

While no reporting system is perfect, to have a common platform with a globally accepted framework is key to understanding what a company is doing, what is material to their business and its impact on resources. With more and more investors interested in the impact a company is having on the environment, more companies are providing this information to effectively communicate the progress they are making.
