Renewable Energy Series
(6)
Renewable energy is one of the reasons for Southeast Green’s existence. When the idea for this news aggregator site first came about, it was going to focus on solar energy only, but as ideas and the evolution of the idea and partnerships evolved, Southeast Green grew and prospered too. However, in our midst are many of the solar geeks still, and so in their honor, solar news remains an important focus for Southeast Green. As such, it seems fitting at this juncture that we explore the renewable energy conversation.
Recently, Solar Power International and the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) hosted their national conferences in the Southeast. Southeast Green covered both. With statewide and national elections just ahead, clean energy will be a topic of interest for more and more of our fellow citizens. So let’s take a look at where it all stands today in the Southeast in this series of short upcoming articles.
We would like to thank our sponsor Sterling Planet for making this series possible.
