Heirloom Design Build was honored for leadership and excellence in green building design and construction for their recent new house project at 1013 Euclid Avenue, NE in the historic Inman Park Neighborhood in Atlanta, Georgia. “This house project incorporated all of the latest high performance building design and construction techniques. We were very honored to receive this recognition from Southface and the GAHBA, especially on the 15th year anniversary of the Program”, said Dave Radlmann, CEO of Heirloom Design Build.
The house achieved a HERS rating of 50 and was also certified by multiple green building programs including: Department of Energy’s Net Zero Ready, National Green Building Standard, GA Power’s Earthcents and the Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star, Watersense, and Indoor Air Plus Programs.
The award was presented by David Ellis, executive vice president of the GAHBA, and Scott Lee, director of residential green building services at Southface, in the presence of over 100 industry leaders at the Southface Eco Office in downtown Atlanta. “We are proud of the outstanding work that Heirloom Design Build does to advance green building in the Southeast.
